Background
District 6 boasts over 50 lodges in the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah. The vast majority of these lodges are located in California.
District 6 is the proud owner of Camp Norge, a Sons of Norway recreation center that has been described as “a little bit of Norway in the Sierra Mountains.”
Camp Norge offers cultural activities, including rosemalling camps for adults, and Camp Trollfjell, a language and heritage summer camp for youth aged 8-13. Camp Norge is a great place for family reunions, big or small church retreats, youth camp outings and snow trips, while leaving plenty of space for individual and family use.
